Celebrate the New Year in the village of Hetta Perhaps the Northern Lights will mark
the occasion with a spectacular display.
ANOTHER YEAR BEGINS and it’s a time of celebration, renewal and excited expectation. So why not celebrate it deep inside the Arctic Circle, where the magic of Father Christmas’s special season still holds sway? After celebrating the arrival of the New Year in style, you will be able to venture out into the majestic snowscapes to enjoy a wide range of snow activities before setting out in search of the grand old man himself. Your New Year short break will be a wonderful opportunity to spend quality family time together in the exhilarating surrounds of this winter wonderland.
Celebrating the New Year will be just part of your short break with Transun. There is so much more included. From a Husky Experience to a Search for Santa, from a Snowmobile Adventure to a New Year Celebration, your three-night break is filled with magical experiences. Here is a
typical itinerary.

DECEMBER 30
Your fl ight departs around 10am and at Enontekiö you are guided to your coach. The journey to Hetta takes around ten to 15 minutes. Watch out for Santa’s reindeer in the woods. We stop to collect your all-in-one thermal suits and boots. After checking in at your chosen accommodation, your Transun rep hosts a welcome meeting and will answer any further questions during a welcome dinner. Tonight, you can join one of our optional activities, such as a snowmobile night safari, hoping to encounter the Northern Lights.

After breakfast, you head outside for Supervised Snow Fun, a day of activities that include a Snowshoe Trek, Snowball Throwing Contest, Tandem Skis and Children’s Skis, Snowman Building, Tug-of-War, Snow Hockey and lots more!
There will also be a supervised kids’ snowmobile ride (see below for details). Activities are available throughout the day. A hot lunch will be provided. Then, the highlight of the day, when you board a reindeer sleigh and set off In Search of Father Christmas. During a private family meeting in his cabin, each child has the chance to talk with Santa and receives a small gift. This evening, enjoy a New Year Celebration at your hotel.
